They’re home!!

Hey all!! Brought the brood home today!! Mt. Healthy threw in an extra chick. I have no clue what she’s going to be!! I’ve gotten them to eat and drink, now they’re pretty quiet, peeping quietly every now and again under the brooder. Is this a good sign?

Congrats! Yes, new chicks love to chit chat under the heat plate. You only need to be concerned if you hear distress peeps (and you'll know the difference!)

They’re quiet now. I’m going to assume they’re exhausted. Lol I think my dogs are petrified.

So obviously the grey one is the lavender Orpington. The light buff one I’m pretty sure is the Easter egger, her cheeks have little muffs. The top left, I *think* is the speckled Sussex. Bottom right, I *think* is the Barnevelder. The big booty Judy directly above the Orpington is the mystery chick.
