Anyone know why my chickens have turned grey?? They don’t seem to be sick and it’s been a little cold but nothing crazy

Are you speaking about their combs and faces ? I would guess that they have stopped laying due to shortened daylight period, and the decrease in comb size and coloration is a result of lowered hormonal levels.
That sounds about right it gets dark around here at 4:30 and I only get a couple of eggs a week now.. thanks for the info .. should I be concerned?? They don’t seem to be sick..
