I put the chicks in the coop yesterday so that they could run around. They are hilarious to watch

They were running and flapping and jumping. I think they enjoyed the extra room. They started scratching around in the dirt and boy are they curious - having to check out every single piece of stick or stone that was laying in there. We had fun just sitting and watching them.

We on BYC call it watching chicken TV and yes it is fun. If you were to take a poll to find out how many have chairs or such to sit and watch their chickens you would be amazed to find out that most do.

wait until you have 2 roo chicks....they play fight and bump chests, trying to stand the tallest.....bobbing heads etc...

Yes they are fun to watch.

I watch Chicken TV for an hour a night while the chicks are free ranging with the older girls.

There are the odd squabbles, but I let them sort it out, unless a chick is in danger of course.

"chicken TV"

that is perfect, and funny at the same time.

My fav is when the hens want to lay eggs and they have to somewhat get in line to do it (I have 8 hens using 2 nesting boxes), at times they get a little loud with each other.
