THey are all DEAD... and it was my own dog

I got them the end of March... we put them in the coop last night and now they are all dead. My dog abby got them... she has been around chickens for 18 months now... we have had these chickens on the floor and walking around and all she did was watch them... she has never bothered them before, she has never bothered with my big girls either but today she SNAPPED she killed 9 - 10 week old chicks, and tore the tail feathers out of 2 of my hens.

So I guess she will be getting a muzzle tomorrow... I will not get rid of her for it but she will be muzzled and leashed from now on...

I'm so sorry.

I don't trust my dogs at all around my chicks. Though my dogs are small I know they would pounce on them the first chance they got. My oldest dog has even earned a new nickname, Predator.

Sorry you lost your chickens. I would never trust either of my dogs around my chickens. That's why there are two fences between them. Saves us a lot of worry.
