Actually today is the 6th, but dont count the 17th so 18th is first day right?? so today would be 18th day????

You are correct- I've been re-living yesterday since I got up this morning. It is the 6TH! So yes we are at day 18, or if you want to get technical, 17 1/2.

Yes the Brower brooder is together. I need to plug in the heating elements to make sure they work but it's all washed and assembled and ready to go now. After seeing the size of these quail, I think I'm going to brood them in my normal brooder which is a huge aquarium and wait to brood chickens in the Brower. I would have to make so many modifications to have the quail in the Brower that it makes more sense to at least start them in the aquarium. Maybe when they get bigger they can move over.

WOWWWW! What a beautiful assortment of eggs!!! And the babies are sooo cute!!

How many do you have now?

I counted 9 this time- hard to tell because they are so fast and small. I'll get a final count in a couple of days so I don't have to open the bator anymore than necessary.
