Raw, I peel them first though.

I mean I probably could cook them but honestly I don't think they'd care​

Mine love carrots too. We eat a lot of carrots and they get the ends and peels rather than the carrot itself though. Basically kitchen scraps. But I have learned that chickens are a lot more picky than I would have thought! Ducks, not so much, they eat everything...

Yeah, my BO's used to snub their beaks at everything before I started free ranging and the started copying the other chickens. Now they love not only bugs and grass but garden scraps as well.
