They don't like fruit

We have a garden out back, and the cabbage and broccoli that we don't use or give away goes to the chickens. And they love it!

And they know too. When they see us pull up the plants they get restless and excited

Mine love it when I "bowl" an apple out into the yard. So funny watching them chase it. After a few minutes of all eight of them pecking at it, it's gone down to the core.
