They have started hatching! PICS!

Just started day 20 at 6pm today. I checked and no pips or anything. I was sitting here reading the forum and started hearing a loud peeping. No pips. After about an hour of peeping I finally see a pip in one of the Jersey Giant eggs. A couple of minutes ago the second Jersey Giant pipped. It's going to be an interesting next 4 days as the bator hatches and the broody is on day 18 today.

Why do the chicks always seem to hatch at night. I have to get up at 5 am so I'm supposed to go to bed....and they pip....

I actually almost prefer it when they decide to hatch at night....if I'm sleeping I don't stress myself out checking them all the time!!

Jumped out of bed this morning ...... and no chicks yet. Four of the Jersey Giants have pipped and they are singing. Hopefully I will have chicks when I get home from work. Also, today is day 19 for the broody. I hope to be able to see something under her.... hmmm sick day.... cough cough.....

Edited to add: Cyn, one of Silvers eggs has pipped too!
