A little off topic. I once knew a young woman from Marshall, NC that was heavy into the superstitions. She always cut my hair when I need a trim. She insisted on burying the hair that she cut off. Why? The superstition is that if you simply throw the hair away, rats can get ahold of it and make a nest of it. If they do that, you will die soon after.

I was a serious practicing Pagan for many years, and we always burned the hair for hair brushes or whatnot, because Romany lore says that if a Magpie makes it's nest with your hair, you will die shortly...

This is all fascinating to me!

Although! I did quit smoking sucessfully by using an old Romany spell involving a nail driven into wood with 8 strands of my hair wrapped around it. I thought it was worth taking the chance

That was nearly 5 years ago and I'm still not smoking.

I too have purple Eeyore PJs... Oh and the ones I'm wearing now (Yes, I'm still in Jammies, I threw out my back okay?) are light purple flannel with huge flowers all over.. Really hideous things but the most comfortable I own.
Purple is my fav. color. I have purple shoes, purple jeans, many purple shirts, purple socks, I had purple hair many times... Right now I have a purple cell phone case and I'm knitting a purple sweater for my Chihuahua...
If it's purple, it's GREAT, if it's purple AND Sparkly OMG I'm in heaven!
