They may be chicks, but they are killers!

Two 6 week old and one 4.5 week old chick killed this in my yard today.

But, they are too small to eat it...what a waste of a perfectly good snake!

I'm hoping this means I have a good rooster! I didn't even know we had snakes in my area, mother nature, she persists!

Good for them. I'm amazed at these beaks of theirs and their lightning speed and excellent vision. Mine are spotting circling birds, chasing and catching tiny little flying bugs, and my friend told me that she heard they are good at killing scorpions!

Congratulations! If they can take down something like that now, just think of what they can bring down when they are older...
