I candled my scovy eggs tonight, that I'm hatching under broody hens, and all but 2 have no veining and look a little too sloshy. This means that they quit correct? A better description is there are absolutely NO veins, loose or too large air cells, and compared to the 2 that appear good the liquid is way darker and more yellowish looking

Id think they'd be bad based on my knowledge of chicken eggs. Im still learning ducks

But Im not that smart with candling chicken eggs either....soo.....um...

Well I re candled and all but 2 had absolutely no veining and were way too sloshy so I cracked them open and sure enough each and everyone had a dead duckling in it
