They scared yo...

But again the smallest of the entire group is a buckeye the runt of the group and happen to be the first out in the Run after the Dominique's... Just now

My ramp is very steep.... Hmmmmm.... Do I want to raise it or raise them to be tough? Thinking. This is a science experiment to me and raising it would change the variables.
They may find it very difficult to get back up that ramp. As you said it is steep and the cleats appear to be pretty far apart for young chicks. I put mine at 3" and the ramp is not as steep as yours.

Maybe, maybe not depends on if they can get back inside. If they can't they will hunker down and sleep on the ground if there are no roosts in the run provided they "get" roosting yet. You're probably going to have to put them or at least some of them back yourself. :)
Will they go back in when they need to?

All 10 in the run.

And now to see if they can figure out how to get back up. If you have trained them to BOSS or scratch you can put some at each cleat and maybe they will follow their beaks.
