I'm so sorry for your loss. I have a dog and can't imagine what you're feeling. It's incredulous when hunters don't identify their target. I am a hunter (we just eat venison) and would never shoot unless I was absolutely sure that it was the species of animal for which I had a license. Again, so sorry. My thoughts are with you.
