They stopped laying in October & have not restarted ?

My Nephew bought eggs hatched them & by September they were laying.

In October they stopped.

They have not laid an egg since!

Is this normal ?

It is now light at 7.00am & dark at 6.00pm.

Remember I am across the water !!!!

ok we went thru this over the winter and now mine are finally laying again!

questions to ask yourself:
is there sufficient room for them to roost and run around the coop/run?
could they have mites or worms?
are they getting enough light during the day? do you need to put a light in the coop?

these are the things we remedied for our girls and they are finally laying again!!

What are you feeding them and are they getting too many treats (not enough protein)?

I still have 2 pure ameraucana's that haven't started back up yet. (and I'm in CA) The other 2 have been back to laying for a month and a half now.
