They were supposed to be Dominiques

I knew as soon as I opened the box and really looked at them that it wasn't what I expected but I thought ok maybe they are barred rocks. But I don't think that is the case either. They are about 13 weeks old. Can anyone identify them? Just mutts? They have greyish pinkish legs. Hopefully I attached the pictures correctly.

I sort of suspected that. So is that a good bird to have? do they lay well? I will do some more research on them. Thankyou for the reply.

my parents have blue and black coppers, they are a good dual propose bird, don't know how the hatchery birds lay or act but moms are great.

marans are good wee birds, they will lay you some very dark eggs
