They won't drink from the nipple bucket!

I set up a bucket with 3 nipples and my chickens don't seem to be able to figure it out! I kept them in the coop until late in the day so they would figure it out but they still won't peck at the nipples. Out of 9 chickens only 2 have figured it out. Any ideas?

They will figure it out. How long have you put it there?

Put something tasty on it....like peanut butter.

If two have figured it out the others will. They learn from watching each other. If you are ranging them then they may be getting water elsewhere as well. Mine had to get real thirsty before they would use it. But now they do and I love it.
