Well, on May 15th, my corn snake laid 19 eggs. I went camping that same day, and when I came home, I was up to 21 eggs. One was a dud, and the rest have been sitting on my shelf. Here is a link to my original post.

Anyways, they usually hatch around day 60, or at least that's the day when they can start. Of course, they wanted to take a bit longer! I went upstairs to turn on the A/C and I checked and sure enough, 3 pips! I got pics and I'll update with photos as they hatch! So far all look normal like momma, Im hoping for some color!

I checked them and the egg on the right in the pic has 2 babies in it!! Twinnnssss!!!

*I deleted two pics to add some more!*

I've got 4 babies so far. My twins hatched and 2 other larger babies. They're all normals like their momma, and so are the rest that have pipped. Im beginning to think Im getting a whole clutch or normals, but Im ok with that!

Thanks! Im glad you find it interesting and not disgusting, haha.

They're rubbery. Nothing like a chicken egg. They're kind of like a shell-less chicken egg, I guess you could say. They're very fun to poke.

I hatched out everglades rat snake eggs and leucistic texas rat snake eggs. What kind of incubator you using? I just use a hovabator. Are your corns any different morphs?

Very cool! Im using my shelf!

That's how I've always hatched reptile eggs and it hasnt failed me yet. The mother is a normal, no known hets. She's a petstore buy, so I dont know. The father is an Amel het Butter Stripe. So even if they're all normals, they should have some interesting hets floating around!

Cool! Thinking of buying a bator, saw your pics and instantly thought what would DH think if I hatched some snake eggs?!?

Thanks, Juls! Yeah, I am! Well, grand-daddy really, haha. I raised their momma from a little baby, its crazy to think her own babies are hatching now. The bubbles are just from the little guys breathing in the egg. They come up and get a breathe of air and if they're spooked or go back in the egg for some reason, when they release that breath it creates a big mess of bubbles!

CONGRATS! SQUEEEEEEEEEE!

Ican't wait to see the first full body pics!

Also, you'll be pleased to know that I'm looking into a simple snake rack, and am planning on using it to breed my western hognoses, and I'm hoping to get either a pair of Hypo Lavenders, or a pair of Fires to breed.
