THEY'RE HERE!

I have lots of pictures of the "Ova Office" on my page. Just click on the link to "Debby10s coop" at the top of the page or at the bottom of the page. The entry matterial for this springs contest is there and there are more pictures than you could possibly want.

By the way, my coop was one of the winners. I blush. But I'm too proud to let it go without saying!

Here's an update on my chickies. They are getting so big and seem healthy and fairly friendly at 5 weeks of age.

I wish they were all this easy to ID so young, but there seems to be way too many hens by my estimation. Guess that means some of the roos aren't this developed yet.

I'm keeping the coop at around 70 degrees this week and will soon be letting them out for the first time. I really don't know what I'm doing, but with 25 chickens, it picture that I won't be able to make them all go back in until they are good and ready. Seems to me it could turn out to be a lot like herding cats. So I won't let them out till it is warm and dry. The weather in the NE has been neither this month so far! But soon. Very soon, they will be in the 8' X 8' "nursery" run I made for them.

Visit my page to see a few more pictures if you like.

Happy chickening to you all. Debby
