Hi everyone - my three straight run bantams continue to confound me. I just can't tell whether they're girls or boys (or even what breed two of them are). So I figured I'd turn to the experts here. What say you?
Here's two pictures of candidate #1, who I suspect is a Belgian Bearded D'Anvers pullet. Am I right?
Chicken #2, who I thought was an Easter Egger pullet, but now I'm not so sure. "Her" comb is quite red, much more so than any of her age mates. Is this really a cockerel? And if so, is he still an EE? I thought this coloring was only for females.
Last one, a bantam silkie. I think s/he's partridge colored, but not sure on sex. Is it too early to tell?
