These babies were hatched on 6/1 in what I think is a 50/50 boy/girl ratio. One of these "boys" I am questioning - really hoping it is a fast developing pullet. I know the other 3 are boys, but what do you think about the one circled? The comb/wattles seem a little less pronounced than the others. So slow maturing cockerel or fast maturing pullet?

The smallest one hatched from a smaller egg, but he sure is feisty.

Thanks

Thanks, that just means I have 4, instead of 3, to give away. Such a hassle - not going to let me broody sit again for a long while. Less that 2 years old and this was her 3rd clutch. :he
I shoved day old pullets under my broody, no risk of getting Roos that way ❤️ But I still got my chick fox fox and she got to be a mama 🥰

I think that is what I will do next. Done with raising cute little boys that no one wants. Just broke a broody - but I sure do like the little chickies!
