They're wasting 40 lbs of food!!!

With my birds i have noticed that they waste much more feed if i fill the feeder up instead of 5 lbs at a time.

I feed layer mash dry in a hanging feeder I bought from the store. They have to crane their necks just to get a bite, but they eat just fine and I have almost no waste. The feeder cost me $20, but I know that I have more than made up for the cost of it in saved feed.
