Thanks, I am still trying to figure them out and will just wait for the green to show up on their faces. It's not costing me any more hardly to keep them and I don't want to send a hen down the road. They are bigger than my Mallard hens but they do have the Rouen in them and one is making more noise than it did in the past so they are still confusing me. I can remember in the past my males getting the green starting on their faces and that was a sure sexing for them.Seems that with my Runners, it's the females that gain the greenish or sometimes darker orange/red on the beaks. The tell is that around the nares you still see the yellow, but all my speculation could be wrong.
