Kind of looks like it got the tip caught but if it’s been like this since it hatched must have happened while in the egg. Wonder if the sharp point on the shell could have done it?

One of my ducks lays really thick shells, so that's definitely a possibility.

June 14th around lunch time for number 28, and I think Napoleon was about 36 hours later.

Mine hatched June 14 th also one during the day the other in the night. I can see a contrast with their feathering the blk is shiny where their feathering and drab blk where there is down but yours are getting their wing feathers in faster.

I think I have a boy and girl @Luv Ducks one is making small noises like quacks the other is still peeping. All subject to change in the next few weeks. Mama still very protective.

I hope that you did get a boy and a girl. That is how mine started out and I swore that is what I had and then the other one finally started to quack too, just not as much. I still have the one a lot louder than the other one. Mine are sooooo big now and have the pretty fawn colors on them. I hope that you have a boy and girl my Dear. Thanks for the update. Crazy amount of gray/silver or whatever the proper term is. Harder to see in the photograph, but look at the base of the tail.
