If Y'all don't know, I'm Thigh-High in Chicken Math.
I might be ordering from Meyer Hatchery. But if I did I could only get 4.
SO HELP
I've picked out two already:Golden Laced Wyandotte, and a Buff Laced Polish
But for my other two chicks, I want to pick from these breeds:
Welsummer
Molted Ancona
Silver Hamburg
Speckled Sussex
Salmon Faverolle
Buff Orpington
Partridge Rock
Buff Brahma
Dominique
Rhode Island Red
And a Buff Chancler.

witch one(s) are the friendlest, and cold/heat hardest?

I'm THIGH-HIGH DEEP IN CHICK MATH :barnie :rant

Oh, we know.

I'd put the Brahma on that list. They're supposed to be very friendly and cold hardy!

I really really like all these other breeds, but I narrowed it down to four since I can get the other breeds next year.
I narrowed down:
Speckled Sussex
Salmin Favwrolle
Buff Orpington
And Dominique.

Now to choose just two....

Just one thing to consider with getting a Polish sometimes the other Chickens will peck the feathers out of their heads.....I had a Polish in with my Flock once and its feathers were picked off its head.....It could happen?
Also Polish are a bit more flighty than your other choices.....

Best wishes though......I'm sure it will be fine.....

Congrats and Cheers!...;)

Thanks.

I have whit-Er, lets just say she a chicken, hehehe. She was supposed to be a white leghorn but its a long story, she's a bit flighty but she is so sweet and I've always wanted a Polish(maybe because I'm part Polish?:gig)

My sweetest EEs beard is half picked of cause of being in a tight space when we had so much snow, but now they have a lot of space and her feathers are growing back in :woot
