Hi, Nubie here.
I have a problem and didn't know which forum to post.
The membrane on my yokes are so thin, that when I EASE them into the pan, most break.
If they don't break when you put them in your pan, they break when you try to ease them over.
LOL, this is when cooking. Also multiple chicks. It has to be something in their diet,, but what?
TIA.

Hi, welcome to BYC! :frow

How are they being stored? I usually have this problem with old eggs that have been stored on the counter OR in the skelter. While many people do store eggs on the counter and it IS safe... quality deteriorates rapidly... it is said that 1 day on the counter is equal to 7 days in the fridge.

It can also be effected by age of the bird and certainly diet effect many things.

How old are your birds? What do you feed including treats and supplements? :pop

LOL, feed usually includes my garden, but includes everything from chick feed, oyster shell and lots of seed types. Birds are 1 year old, eggs are fresh (yesterday)
