Five pips out of twelve and one that is on the verge of being free of the egg.
And of course, it's bedtime.

I'll stay up and watch them for ya Frenchie..

Is there a smiley of hair being pulled out?

Thanks. Now you watch the 'bator, I"m going to bed.

The one that's almost out looks like a BO with a brown Mohawk.

Guess it's not exactly pulling hair, but it's close

things that take longer than a pip to hatch?? Hmm.... well there are:

waiting for Christmas when you're 7;
watching paint dry in the rain;
waiting for h-e-double-hockey-sticks to freeze over;
waiting for pigs to fly;

I'm sure there are others, but these will have to do for now. You could always try setting muscovy eggs. Not only do they take 5 weeks to hatch, but they wait till they are in week 4 before they quit on you!!
