Anyone else wake up multiple times a night, thinking your chickens are under attack? What sounds send chills down your spine?

Here are some that always get my heart racing-
-the squeaky faucet on the other side of the wall
-slamming drawers in the bathroom
-random inconsiderate wild birds calling at night for no good reason
-the air whistling through my nose

I sleep better at college…

Happens so often it’s not funny
We have screaming possums, cats, other birds, children, dogs

Not screaming birds but my tap dripping sounds a lot like chicks peeping from my room, kind of creepy when you have no chicks and it’s 3am

The only sound that I can't stand is the sound of someone chewing with their mouth open. I have this very violent response (in my own head) and have to leave the room and cool down.

It probably has something to do with growing up with a younger brother that would slurp his ice cream loudly when he realized I hated the sound.... siblings...

I don't know what it is, but there's this type of bird that always sounds like a chick chirping to me. Sometimes I welcome it because it reminds me of chicks, but other times I'm going around looking for a lost chick that I don't have. (It probably doesn't help that I once had this escape artist chick that used to somehow manage escaping the coop and forget how she did, all the while chirping loudly because she couldn't see her mom.)

None for me. I sleep like a rock usually.
Sorry chickens you're on your own on the night shift.

- My cats "merp"ing and clattering from across the house
- Children boisterously walking nearby in the neighborhood
- Most bird noises in the backgrounds of shows, especially if they're distant or faint
- Distant power tools

Forgot one: my little brother’s ’close up the chickens’ alarm that goes off about 8pm. It’s a crowing rooster, but it sounds like far-off screaming when it’s muffled in his pocket. 😩
