She came outside the other day in just a short tshirt and her underwear. Thank God she lives far behind me

She's close to 90 years old. And I think she has dementia, seriously. Probably from all the cat ammonia in her house
You should check in on her from time to time.
I would never leave alive. The ammonia would kill me. But she doesn't live alone. She lives with at least two adult grandchildren and her great grandchildren. And her daughter lives right around the corner
You are relieved of any and all neighborly obligations.
We do keep an eye and talk to the other neighbors. They are older as well and don't have ac, I'll check on them a few times next week. Only the husband drives and he has been having issues with his heart. So, we go over there and help out if needed. Usually with gardening or fixing their mower. The wife likes to keep busy so she does a lot on her own. I volunteer to pick things up at the store for them all the time, they've never taken me up on that. They are really nice people who I'm happy to live next to
I wish I could say it is not going to be into the 90s and humid for the next week.

Hard same here. And my hubby does building maintenance so he is outside a lot
