I did not find two ticks copulating on my neck yesterday.

I did not just get a phone call from one of my friends telling me that his kids have taken his truck and keys away from him.


He is suffering with cognitive degeneration, and it was probably the right thing to do. Sadly he lives 100+ miles away from me.

Sigh. Aging is hard. Good for his kids for having the love, wisdom and courage to do this. My SisIL and I had been talking about how to do this for her mom, who lived with me, when she (the MIL) pulled out in front of a semi on her way to have her toenails trimmed two miles from home. It haunts me that the woman who drove the semi has to live with this.
