I have thought about suggesting a "help" form for posts that includes the basics "troubleshooting" information needed.

Something like:
Species/breed
Gender
Symptoms in detail
How many
Food/diet
Space
Weight (thin, normal, obese)
Poop (normal or not)
PICTURES

Problem is, many of the most knowledgeable people would rather get the answers one at a time and they stop reading if you write stuff out at length in the OP (like me, brevity is not my strong suit). Then they ask you all the same questions you already answered in the OP and get frustrated that their suggestions aren't being received. Like, if it was an obvious problem I wouldn't be asking for help. I've long since given up on being assisted in time for emergencies. But it's not that they don't care, it's obvious they do and want to help. Just a patience matter I guess.

One is a person I know of, more than know. He's someone hubby worked with many years ago.

The other is the wife of a former coworker. The four of us got together for brunch every so often. Not recently, and I regret that.
