Commence rant and venting:

These are living creatures. You didn't bother doing the most basic research so you don't even know what these things eat, then you post asking why they're dying.

They're dying because you are mistreating them! BEFORE you get a living creature, you should know as a bare minimum what it eats and what kind of shelter/environment it needs.

I get so frustrated when these poor animals die because someone didn't do their research before getting them.

Repeat after me, children: Quail. are. not. chickens!
