First time I threw the horses on the trailer and drove 12 hrs to Lexington for a big horse show my parents were freaked out. No cell phones back then!

We all survived fine - my dad taught me well, to drive and check the truck and trailer (he was a transport and heavy equipment operator), take lots of breaks and not speed.

DH gave him good directions. If he pays attention he'll be fine. I gave him my emergency credit card. He also has his AAA card for roadside sssistance if needed, and we prayed over him, so all bases covered, lol. We (DH, his sister and me) will drive up in a few weeks for graduation and drive both cars back.

Can you predict what happens if I cross my BR (Buff Rock) with my BCM (Black Copper Marans) and then breed the chicks with a BA (Blue Andalusian)?

What if I use the other BR (Barred Rock) with the other BCM (Blue Cuckoo Marans) and then the other BA (Black Australorp)?

Or maybe I've got a Blue Rock, a Blue Copper Marans, and a Buff Ameraucana?

[Not actually asking for predictions about the chicks, just grumbling about abbreviations that have several different "obvious" meanings.]

My chicken areas are paved, rain will not flood it, no mud.
My whole chicken area is under cover completely from A-Z.
All my chickens are in good health, no shell less egg.
I have a rooster in my flock.

I wish I could say that I have been on my best behavior and top tier mom mode today as it's technically a holiday, but chronic pain is messing with me, and I am tired and not as engaged as I would like to be. At least I can say that the kiddo hasn't seemed to notice anything and thinks today has been great except for when he got scolded over the kite.

ACL has VERY different meanings depending on whether you're talking IT field or medical field...

When I had an ACL repair, I also had some very confused coworkers.
