Things you wish you could say

While in the Navy they acquired the nickname McPukes from me…. 3x from 3 different sites - food poisoning = 3 strikes, your out. Never again…. Still holding to it since 1989/90.
McDooDoo's triggers something and I get nauseous at the smell of them. Even walking down the street from them. I'll eat burgers, just not theirs.

Crazy Lady has a craving for the fish sandwich every 5 years. That's enough for me.

You ever walked into a burger joint, smelled the rancid grease smell and turned around? Have a hard time getting away from it sometimes.

moderation in all things

@electrycmonk , how much alcohol was involved?
Zero. For All three events.

for a little perspective I was thee goto guy to be the Designated driver for parties or clubbing. Yeah I was under 21 for most of my time in but, growing up I had the parents remove the “forbidden fruit” aspect of alcohol.
2nd detail was watching all the other recruit/rookies binge payday weekends and then violently have their bodies purge that expensive alcohol all over the ground/car/ floor/ toilet bowl/ bed etal…. Yeah. When I wanted to get a drink night they all took bids (almost) because I was and still am a cheap drunk.
Yes, there were a few bad events while in the navy…. That’s a story for another post/thread.

I am extremely bad at the moderation part. :lau  I’ve been working on it though and getting better at it thankfully but for me, it’s still usually better to just not buy it in the first place because if it’s there, I will eat it :lau
This to you shall improve upon…. With focus & effort. Moderation will be as much a part of your life as breathing is….

Hopefully eventually!!!
It helps when you finally realize 'Your not nearly as funny as you seem'. At the same time everyone else is hilarious, but not in the way they think.
Then you can pour, or arrange with the bartender to make every other drink a plain whatever. If there passing a bottle, draw a little air out the neck as your lips touch it, upend it and slowly blow the bubbles back in. They think your a macho guzzler. 😎

I don't do McDuck's, I do Burger King on those rare occasions I have to do fast food. At McD's you pretty much get bread, meat and a little squirt of condiments, a single sad slice of pickle if you're lucky and a small mattering of chopped onions in the center of your dry, tasteless sandwich. . With cheese if you like. A Whopper comes with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, ketchup and mustard. Both the meat and the buns are toasted, no, GRILLED over an open flame. Now, THERE's a sandwich!

I always disliked any food from Booger King.

To each his zone. Good night my friend. ❤
I think it depends on the location because our Burger Kings here were both HORRIBLE (and went out of business LOL) but I went to one in Maine a few weeks ago, at a random middle of nowhere rest stop of all places, at night, and it was AMAZING. So fresh and hot and delicious. But given there weren’t many people there, that could be why. :lau the crowded ones it’s all about going ASAP so they care less. But then again, ours weren’t that crowded so maybe that’s not it. Idk. Ours was a bunch of kids who didn’t care at all and were quite rude too. Anyway, all this is to say, I guess, that it varies by location and also who owns that particular franchise I think.
