Things you wish you could say

They're just doing what comes naturally. If you are going to threaten them, it helps to have a hatchet in your hand.
The older hens, who are being harrassed by the cockerels, should have warned them. But even me warning them, they are sounding off in the glory of their kind!

There is one that is so much bigger than the other 2. Magnificent specimen taking after his father. Large breasted. The other two are more Leghorn slender.

We are at 12 weeks and hoping to make 24 weeks. Nature does rule. And pin feathers means no plucking. Cheers!

I skinned out a bunch of 4 week old cockerels a couple of years ago. Super tender fake quail.
