I wish I would get called for jury duty! I think it would be interesting.

It is actually, and she really wants to do it but the timing could not be worse. She could get deferred as a college student but the semester ends 4 days earlier

Prior to ageing out I was called for jury duty several times. I don't think they liked the way I answered their questions - I was always rejected by lawyers for the defense.

Don't just throw tea. Throw everything you can buy at a grocery store.

I wish I could say my 19 year old wasn’t called for jury duty the day we fly to Italy. Trying to figure out if vacation is an acceptable excuse for deferrment

In NJ, I deferred because I was going to France. They didn't even ask why; the online form said you could defer it once.

That’s what I’m hoping but it’s not on the list for reasons to defer. I’ve got an email in to them.

I was one jury number away from the Richard Alan Davis trial. I would have been disqualified, though, since I knew too many of the people involved.

I was summoned for jury duty quite a few years ago. I wore all my gear for a certain president and they didn't even bother questioning me. I walked in, signed in, and they took one look at me and told me to have a good day
