Things you wish you could say

Funny thread. Can relate to many things.

@tripletfeb (and another poster) who work in school cafeteria..your posts made me remember my stintof being an occasional parent volunteer in the school cafeteria several years ago. I’d be one if a few parents that would come in To help serve in the line. One day I was assigned the first position: getting the tray, adding utensils and this frozen fruit/veg thing. This fruit veg thing looked like a cup of sorbet. They came in three fairly bright colors. Since I was there for 2 hours I decided to conduct some “social” observations... I’d give everyone the yellow one ...except for one kid would get the blue one.. would the kids notice? Would they barter or trade? Etc. (the answer is yes, they noticed and bartered increasingly as the ages/grades increased and the school was grades 1-8 with nearly 900 kids). I wonder if the parents would have complained...I guess so if they are actually complaining about free food!

for the BYC posters that post repeated threads bc they did not like the answers in the first few threads, I often see them called out for it...some reply, but most don’t!

I’d love to say to the people who come to the Y and use the indoor track (it is elevated above one gym and it takes 22 laps to get a mile in): “read the signs! No, your toddler is not allowed on the track bc they are going to be run over accidentally by a runner (that’s why the sign says no one under 14), yes you can walk the track but not side-by-side with your pal bc no one can get around you (that’s why the sign says single file), yes I know your kid/teen wants to do sprints, but the open gym might be a better place for that 🙄

Roosters DON'T lay eggs!!! How on earth can you own chickens and not know that? Are you mentally OK? Or was it a typo?
Wait, you need a rooster egg incubated by a toad to get a cockatrice! Are you saying those don't exist?!

When people react with 😡😡 to my posts i want to slap them silly! god i hate it WAYYY more than I should. SAY IT TO MY FACE PUNK! 😂
They are saying it to your face with the reaction. That's what a reaction is.

Oh yes. You bet they noticed. Kids notice if they get a biscuit that didn't raise quite as high as the one served to the kid before them.

I don't mind reading everyone's opinions, even when I find them to be idiotic or downright ridiculous. There are lots of different people here, with lots of different opinions, and who knows I might learn something new. 🤷‍♀️

What drives me up the wall are the insufferable self-appointed know-it-alls!

To those people - Stop taking yourself so freaking seriously, nobody wants to read all your know-it-all bu!!p@@p over and over and over again. Lighten up, laugh once in awhile, learn to listen to what others might have to say as well. Despite what you so obviously think, you are NOT ALWAYS RIGHT!
