I agree fully with you. Though goldfish shouldn’t be bought on a whim either, as they actually require a large tank or pond (40+ gallons) plus water changes to thrive.

That’s true, yet another animal that doesn’t receive enough forethought when people decide to buy them.

Yes there are actually chicken breeds and not just white chicken brown chicken. And yes hens can lay eggs without roosters.

I agree, though I don’t think it’s just goldfish. Fish in general are known as “throw away pets” something that you get to look at for a few weeks then just forget about it. It’s very unfair on the poor fish.

Drives me crazy that they sell baby rabbits at Easter. Noticed I didn't call them baby bunnies. Like chicks, they are cute for awhile but need appropriate care, feed, caging, and in my experience, lots of handling or can become quite nasty. Last spring a couple were dumped in my area. We were soon overrun with rabbits. The local fox seems to have taken care of the problem.

To add on to what you just said. Dumping domestic animals of any kind out in the wild or on someone else’s property is unacceptable

One of my neighbors came over when the chickens where out, I picked one up and she wanted to go down to get treats; then my neighbor said "You should hold her like this instead, she doesnt like that" MY NEIGHBOR DOESNT OWN CHICKENS.
