Yes, I talk to strangers in elevators and in lines. I also correct other people's kids. Met some interesting people too. Cough, cough < @Kiki > cough.

I am much less polite in person than I am online.

Excellent question. I have no definitive answer. I was often seen as stuck up or stand offish for doing that, but at the same time if I did speak, well, I may as well not have
