Oh man, that is so true! I'm an automatic proof reader. Without even trying, I find myself correcting all the spelling and grammar errors, it drives me crazy! It's your first language people, spell check and auto fill in are not excuses!

I'm part of a writing group, so, yes. Lack of decent spelling and grammar drives me nuts. I especially have a hard time when news articles have errors in them. What happened to editors?

Do the abbreviations drive you as crazy as they do me? Like when people use "lol brb tysm" things like that? Oh, and how about when people type a number for a word? Or say sus for suspect and things? How much time did you really save? Not mine because now I have to google what the hell you meant!

It depends on the communication. If someone sends me something like that in a work email? Absolutely awful. If they're posting on a casual board, it seems uneducated, but doesn't bother me as much.

Plus I'm a terrible typist so I always have to go back on and fix stuff.

Me too. That's why I'm a page behind in my responses. I type chicken style, hunt and peck.

Me too. That's why I'm a page behind in my responses. I type chicken style, hunt and peck.

You can find online typing tutorials. People look at me weird when I'm holding a conversation with them and keeping eye contact while typing.
