Why do people feel like they should have the right to free range their birds whenever and however they want, and then their immediate reaction to predation is to try to figure out how to kill the predator?? I understand that losing birds is emotional and frustrating, but I have seen BYC members describe doing some truly horrific and inhumane things to foxes, coyotes, raccoons, possums, hawks--you name it. It makes me feel so sick and sad. Maybe this isn't the right place for this, but it's really been weighing on me and there's not really any other place in the forum to vent about it.
