Ew. IHOP, Waffle House, so gross. Why would anyone want to go somewhere to order crappy breakfast when you can make really good breakfast at home in less than 30mins?

The cheese blintzes were the only thing I would eat there, and then usually on a road trip.

The one that was “next to” UNT closed its doors about 4-5 years ago…. Gawd what a stomach wrenching experience!

They opened a French Bakery in the neighboyhood. On my days off, DW and I get a bagett or some brioche and some Kerrygold butter and spend allday with it.

I just discovered KG butter a couple weeks ago. That did it. My life is over. I've done it all wrong. I need to go back, hit reset, and start all over again!

If you are talking about Waffle House, FEMA. calls the closest one to the center of where the Hurricane passes to see just how bad a hit the poor town took. If someone answers the phone at the Waffle House it is okay to send FEMA in, if not they kick their feet up and wait a few days or a week.

We went down to Galveston to prep our place for “Harvey” and then… we had to stay on the island and “ride the storm out”; the Waffle House did close for a little while but, reopened- I think it was due to a island wide blackout…
