A lady we know's kid was asked in school to draw things their family ate for Thanksgiving dinner.
He drew tacos. The teacher scolded him and called his mother.
Mom exploded, "Our entire family goes to Nuevo Laredo every year for Thanksgiving. What do you thing he eats there?" (True Story)

That song is so sad, when you look at what they are doing to our world. and DON'T pick a political side, they are ALL doing it !! Think of these poor kids growing up in society today, not only the terrible things they will be taught, but the wonderful things they will no longer be taught.

The Thanksgiving story, reminds me of Christmas Day. Started a tradition many years ago that on christmas we eat seafood. It started as a joke, I was stationed in the Keys, and for Christmas, I overnighted a cooler full of fresh Lobster Tail, Stone Crab Claws, and Snapper to my sister. I told her, teasing her, this is Florida, we don't do that Northern Ham stuff, we eat fish and seafood for christmas down here, the fish will jump up onto the pier and we just pick them up, but the crabs you gotta be careful because they will hide in the corners and try to bite your toes off !! (I said that because my neice who was like 10 at the time was listening to the call and i was teasing her). So to prove my point, and to just send a nice Christmas gift, because I never know what to ever get anyone that they like, I sent the seafood up. It stuck, and while it didn't come from the Keys all the time but from that point on, we always do seafood for christmas.

You know, I DO have a Freeze Dryer. I FD Scallops after I cook them, They are stupid good. you can either pop it in your mouth like a cheeto cheese ball or throw hot water and rehydrate them and they taste pretty much like they did when normal.
