Things you wish you could say

I've moved many times and it sucks.
I was trying to sympathize ❤️
I've been in this house for over 50 years. 0_0
I hate to say it but it never ends. I still have boxes of things I salvaged after Katrina to unpack. (2015) :(

I still have unpacked boxes from when I moved in 1987.
I had a virtual tour meeting with a mover yesterday. Alas, but all of the work I've done with my books is for naught since they have to be put into boxes. Twine bundles won't work.

On the positive side, I am apparently below average for the amount of crap to move out of a 4 bedroom house, even with all of the books. I have been good on the downsizing.

That means less to unpack on the other end too.

It won't take YOU decades to get settled. I am sure of that. :hugs
We just don't want you to feel like an outlier for feeling overwhelmed.
(But, if you have boxes of things you don't need but don't want to dispose of, a stack of boxes under a table or in the corner isn't the end of the world.)

One of the great things about designing your own house is that you get to build in places to put the things that you want to keep. :)

To the kinder teachers who refuse to send their students down to the cafeteria with their lunch numbers: IT IS MARCH! Do your job, make sure the kid has their lunch number. And for the love of all that is holy, if I ask a student their name one more time and they respond, "My mommy didn't give me a name" I'm gonna lose my mind😊

I'd start giving them names. "Oh, you poor thing. Your mommy didn't give you a name? I'll give you one. From now on, you're Booger."
