A person saying "No offense." knows what they are saying is offensive and wants to make sure that you know it is meant to be offensive. The same applies to "With all due respects." being said to make sure you understand that they are being disrespectful on purpose.

When your whole family and all your friends think you are a mean, pessimistic, rude, drama queen, and over react when in reality they just don't know you have depression and anxiety flare ups sometimes...
