Put the stuff away until October. Or at least the first day of Fall. The seasons just seem to be getting earlier each year.

Here all the stores have put out all the fall and autumn stuff and EVEN CHRISTMAS STUFF!!!! WHY!!?!?!?!?!??!!?

Are you from down under or something? Our seasons are going the other directions. When I was a kid I remember sometimes getting snow in October. Now there's years it's not until December.
Also our Halloween stuff just went up a couple weeks age. Christmas? Really? Did they skip Thanksgiving or I guess that's not an Australian holiday huh?

You're not talking about the actual seasons but rather you speak of the marketing seasons.

I've learned to try to ignore the crap on display in the store. I buy what I need. They can not make me buy Halloween candy. Or Christmas junk.

Read all the specs on the entire box, dummy. (This is for me, personally. I bought some light bulbs that I supposed were to be a bright white, but when I got them home, I read the color temp: 2850. Yeah, they're yellow, not white.)

I had no idea there was such a thing as "color temp" and a number wouldn't help me one bit.
Why wouldn't they just show a yellow bulb on the box?

There are different numbers for different light. Warm yellow light vs daylight vs cool white light. I'm sure there are others but I don't know what the numbers mean either
