I wish I could say:

How tragic is this child's background that he cannot even conceive of an individual that does not lie. And how barren his upbringing that he would repeatedly accuse a person he does not know of lying, and feel no shame in doing so. I realize he does not know that I am old enough to be his grandmother at least, and possibly even his great-grandmother. Perhaps he has no such adults in his life to teach him respect and common courtesy. I feel no anger toward him, only a deep and profound pity.

Thankfully, it is so rare as to be an anomaly. In my 5 years here, nothing like it has ever happened. 99.9% of the young people here are nice, thoughtful, respectful, fun kids I would be happy to meet anywhere or even invite into my home. They make BYC what it is, a fun, lively, enjoyable place to hang out.
