One of my horses didn't start quidding

It's where he's trying to eat but he can't chew properly so clumps of half chewed hay keep dropping from his mouth. Meaning he gets no hay. So we had to buy hay pellets and soak them till it was oatmeal consistency so he can eat. Unfortunately it may be permanent from his age...

Sounds like he needs to have his teeth floated, he has a sharp edge on one of his molars. A ferrier should be able to take care of it.

He just had them done a few months back. Our equine dentist is coming out next Wednesday to see him. The horse is 26 though

Physically I'm sure he can still, but he's been out of practice for years unfortunately. I still ride our 26 year old and 21 year old mares though and they ride like 10 year Olds.
