Isn't rain supposed to be good luck for brides? Maybe it will be fr your graduate too! Think of the thunder and lightning as the heavens rejoicing.

Sunday our grandson graduates, too. Congratulations all around!

Would be nice if you sent us a letter or some kind of notice ahead of time before shutting the power off for three hours.

The electric company people said they were "upgrading" some stuff on the line when we asked what they were doing. In CA they would notify us. Here they just cut the power off whenever.

And yes, I did have to be in that heat..... Ugh...

At least we're set to get some rain very soon

Thankfully my job is in an air conditioned building, it's just the ride back that stinks (especially since I get off in the middle of the day). And what made it worse is I had to run errands today. I know it gets hot here early in the year but I wasn't expecting 96 degree temps in may

*sigh* and of course my bedroom is 91F. Thankfully I do have an ac (which I had off because why run the ac in a room that no one is going to be in all day) and a fan but it will still be a bit before I cool down

And this is why even though spring tries to kill me, summer is the absolute worst IMO - even though it's not even summer yet
