Things you wish you could say

Some ppl are saying I can't start random conversations...like saying HI or posting "daily questions"...as if I'm not allowed to do things like this...as if it'll hurt ppl's feelings...as if you're only allowed to do certain postings to a T on EVERY thread...it's driving me up a wall
Um, you can say hi. No one can gatekeep that.

There is a question of the day that's done by one person here, you could try your own in the games thread but as far as I'm concerned there's no rule against doing that either.

That's nice...Um I'm sorry if I came off as to say ANYONE specific here was doing this to me, but I wasn't...thank you for your advice...I hope your day's going just PEACHY

Hold on a second here.

That thread is for art and discussing art as far as I can see. If someone there says that's what its purpose is for, you should respect that. This thread is for things you wish you could say. If I was to ask people here a question of the day I'd have tripletfeb at my front door in 10 seconds.

It's not like it's "illegal" I'm just trying to be nice? Plus, I was posting art and thought it was going just fine...until I simply said something out of the ordinary...?

Many threads have specific purposes, some people prefer to keep them to those. Taking them "off topic" can be frustrating for some because they're only following along for that specific topic and would prefer their inbox not be filled up with other chatter.
There's a LOT of chat threads or no topic threads where you can talked about whatever you like. No one is or was trying to be rude. No, it's not necessary "illegal", but sticking to a thread topic is polite forum etiquette.

And I realize that, yet, if they're just wanting to see the things they created their threads for, then they can do that. Ignore the chatter or delete the chatter if you don't wanna see it, I mean...sorry my opinion...sorry...

I'm not a spamer, I'm not a troll (rude), and I'm clearly not a bot, so...
I didn't say you were, now did I?
I'm just explaining what was going on, again, it's common practice for serious chat room/forum sites.
It's like reddit karma, not enough karma and you can't post in some subs. Just a psuedo filter for low effort content.
