Things you wish you could say

Chips for you are the same as in the UK, right? what we'd call fries in the states?
I guess so, chips is fries over your side.
We got french fried which is thin long like McDonald one.
Then steak chips/pub chips that are thick long cut fried
Then the double fried chips same as steak chips but crunchier
Then the beer battered fried chips that is the same as steak chips, but added beer, this is the best chips
Then the potatoes wedges chips

Talking about it...... I am hungry and craving for fried chips....:drool:drool:drool:drool:drool

As a Brit who has lived in Australia, I think both UK and Australia use the same terms for fries/chips.
It's interesting how different countries call them different names.

I Reckon the Americans haven't heard/tried dim sims😄

DH's "new" car (2015 Buick Enclave) that he just bought yesterday did not pick up severe road damage in a rear tire today, resulting in the purchase of four new tires. It needed them though so it's all good.
Blessing in disguise, maybe.
